London, and with reference to the Secretary of State's

secret telegram No.79 of th April, 1939, has the

honour to forward copy of letter No.33 of 2nd May,

1939, to His Britannic Majesty's Ambassador, Tokyo, and

of a letter of 2nd May, 1939, to His Imperial Japanese

Majesty's Consul-General, Hong Kong, regarding the

recent seizure by the Japanese Navy of the British

ship "Sagres".
